## What is the Setouchi Area Pass ?

The Setouchi Area Pass is a special pass that allows unlimited rides on Shinkansen bullet trains, JR lines, buses, and ferries in the Setouchi area for 7 days. You can experience the traditional scenery of Kagawa and Ehime prefectures, which are blessed with nature, including the sea, mountains, and rivers, as well as local delicacies and specialties not found in other areas. Ferries from Okayama and Takamatsu to Shodo Island and ferries connecting Matsuyama and Hiroshima are also available. We hope you will enjoy your rail ride and journey in the Setouchi region.

* Infants 0 to 5 years old are free of charge.
* If the number of Infants accompanying one Adult or Child exceeds 2, a Child's fare will be required from the third Infant.

### Notes

#### Purchase Requirements

* Holders of passports issued by governments outside Japan.
* \*Japanese (including those with permanent residency overseas) are not allowed to use.
* Those entering Japan as a "Temporary Visitor".
* "Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.

#### Number of Passes

* Maximum total of 10 passes for adults and children per order.

#### How to Use

* Please insert your pass through the automatic ticket gate or present your ticket to the attendant.

* Passes must be claimed within 3 months of the date of issue and up to the day of use.
* Once the pass has been claimed, it is not possible to change the start date of use or to change to another pass.
* Passes will not be refunded if the train service has been suspended after the pass has been used.
* Passengers must have their passports with them when using the pass and present them upon request.
* If there is a difference between the shipping conditions of the foreign language version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version will be prioritized.
* The information shown (including prices) is current as of December 1, 2020, and is subject to change.
* Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo), Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata⇔Kagoshima-Chuo) and Special Rapid "A Seat" paid seat service are not available.

## How to Receive the Pass

* Present the electronic voucher (E-MCO) and foreign passport when claiming your pass
* Passport must have a print that indicates "Temporary Visitor" status at the time of entry into Japan

## Cancellation & Refund

### Before Receiving Pass

* If 100 days have passed after the order without receiving the rail pass, your order will be canceled and the payment will be refunded later.

### After Receiving Pass

* If the pass is unused and before or within the validity period, a refund of 10% of the purchase price (rounded down to the nearest 10 yen) as a handling fee will be made at the JR Ticket Office (Midori-no-Madoguchi).
  
  \*Refunds can also be made at any Nippon Travel Agency store that offers MCO and E-MCO exchange.
