Akita-Hachimantai Ski Resort is located near Onuma Onsen in the expansive Hachimantai region, which stretches across both Akita and Iwate prefectures. It is known for its long season—running from late November to early May—and excellent snow quality. With numerous hot springs in the surrounding area, there are plenty of ways to relax after a day on the slopes.
