Takamine Mountain Park is located in Joshin'etsukogen National Park on the border of Gunma and Nagano prefectures. The park boasts high-quality snow and an elevation of 2,000 meters—one of the highest in Japan—which provides ideal slopes and consistent snow conditions. FunFun Park (admission fee: JPY 800) is a space where children can safely enjoy playing in the snow. Feel free to use sleds and other equipment in the area. Going back up is a breeze if you take advantage of the snow escalator! Children can safely enjoy snow activities, as well as try skiing and snowboarding for the first time in a net-enclosed space.
