The entire mountain is a winter playground where two distinct areas come together in perfect harmony—welcome to Hachimantai Resort, a destination celebrated for its natural powder snow and magnificent scenery. "Panorama Ski Area" features a 2.7km-long gentle slope, making it a popular choice where everyone—from families and beginners to seasoned skiers and snowboarders—can enjoy the ride. Meanwhile, "Shimokura Ski Area" is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and those seeking fresh snow; with its exceptional snow quality, diverse terrain, and six dedicated tree-run zones, it offers the perfect setting to fully experience the region's signature "ultra-light" powder snow. A free shuttle bus connects the two areas, and a shared lift pass allows you to enjoy both ski resorts.

A park exclusively designed for beginners. Easily move up on the 80-meter snow escalator. Perfect for first-time skiers and snowboarders, as well as children who are not yet able to ride the lift.

Kids’ park

This is the ideal spot for sledding! The area is surrounded by safety nets, so you can have fun without worrying about collisions with skiers and snowboarders. In addition to sledding, there are activities for both adults and children, such as mini snowmobiles, banana boards, and snow tubing. Plus, a large snow escalator makes it easy to get back to the top of the sled park!
