Resort features

The whole mountain is a winter playground, a perfect collaboration of two areas! Natural powder snow and magnificent nature are the attractions of Hachimantai Resort. Panorama Ski Area, a popular ski slope with 2.7 km-long gentle slopes, is a fun place for skiers, snowboarders, families, and beginners. For intermediate to advanced skiers and those seeking to enjoy fresh powder snow, the Shimokura Ski Area is highly recommended, with its excellent snow quality and diverse slope configurations, including four tree run areas where you can indulge in the unique ultra-light powder snow of this region. Free shuttle bus service is available between Panorama Ski Area and Shimokura Ski Area, and there are also common lift passes.

Snow park informationA beginners' park with an 80-meter snow escalator that is easy to navigate! Recommended as a debut location for customers or children new to skiing or snowboarding who cannot ride the lift.
Kids’ parkThis is the ideal spot for sledding! With an area surrounded by nets, you can enjoy playing safely without any collisions with skiers or snowboarders. In addition, there are activities available for both adults and children, such as mini snowmobiles, banana boards, and snow tubing. A large snow escalator provides easy access to the top of the sled park!
