Kurumayama (1,925 meters), the main peak of Mt. Kirigamine—one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. From the slopes, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, along with the Southern, Central, and Northern Alps, Mt. Asama, and the Yatsugatake Mountains. The wide, open slopes have few trees, offering a layout that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. Located just under 200 kilometers from both the Tokyo metropolitan area and Nagoya, it's only about a three-hour drive, making it an ideal destination for day trips.
