Shizukuishi Ski Resort

Resort features

Shizukuishi is a premier snow resort in the northern Tohoku region with stunning views of Mt. Iwate. The 20 varied courses with a total running distance of 15,660 meters include the 2,648 meter-long E1 Downhill Course, and the snow strider-accessible B1 Family Slope. The resort caters to both novice and advanced skiers. This season, the Park Area has been expanded, featuring a wide array of options to please skiers of all levels. Also, the CAT tour, where you ride on a snowmobile and ski through powder snow, is unique to Shizukuishi Ski Resort! The resort also hosts unique events, such as stargazing tours* using the Night Ropeway, among many other activities. The ski resort is adjacent to the hotel, so you can also enjoy a resort stay.
