Wakasu Kogen Oya Ski Resort is about a 150-minute drive from Osaka and Kobe.
With the slopes located close to the parking area, it's especially convenient for families. Children trying skiing for the first time are in good hands with the resort's Rakuchin Lessons, which gently cover everything from putting on skis to turning, stopping, and even falling.
The dome-shaped Rakuchin Belt, a conveyor-style ski lift, ensures an easy and safe experience, even in snowy or windy conditions.
Younger children can also enjoy snow play or sledding in designated areas, giving parents peace of mind.
