Resort features
The snow quality is among the best in Yamagata Prefecture, allowing you to enjoy superb powder snow and well-groomed slopes. Head to Zao Liza World for skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. There are various lift pass options, enabling you to enjoy a full day of skiing and snowboarding at surprisingly low rates with the Family Plan for families and the All-Inclusive Ski & Snowboard Plan for those without their own gear. The slopes offer a wide range of beginner courses suitable for first-timers. The summit reaches 1,446 meters above sea level, where frost-covered trees blanket the entire area. After skiing the 1.3-kilometer slope, warm up with a delicious meal at the restaurant. Recommended dishes include oven-baked pizza made in an authentic Italian stone oven and Omurice (Japanese omelet rice).
