St. Mary is a ski resort located nearby Kawasaki, a town nestled between the cities of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture and Yamagata in Yamagata Prefecture. It is located along Route 286, and has the Aone Onsen and Sasaya-toge. The resort’s unique Starlight Course takes advantage of the view of cars driving through Yamagata; skiers will be treated to a special view that makes it seem almost like the lift and course is part of the thoroughfare itself. Kawasaki is connected via two interchanges on the highway for easy access to the resort. With its great accessibility and reasonable prices, many people from all over the country come to check out the slopes here.
