Features and details of Biwako Valley

Biwako Valley is conveniently located just 40 minutes from the Kyoto-Higashi Interchange. The resort boasts nine diverse trails where you can ski while enjoying spectacular views of Lake Biwa. From the Biwako Terrace, the snowy winter landscape unfolds in a stunning panorama. In addition to sledding, Biwako Valley offers plenty of snow activities for adults, including a snow zipline and tubing.

One of Kansai's largest snow parks, located at the stunning Biwako Terrace with Café 360. The thrilling view feels like plunging into Lake Biwa, and the hugely popular 2-way slope is designed for all levels to enjoy.

Although it's not specifically designed for children, a sledding and snow play area is available.

There is no center house, but service desks are available at the base area (Ropeway Base Station Ticket Office) and the summit area (Uchimi-yama Summit).
