Features and details of Rusutsu Resort

Rusutsu Resort is a world-class powder snow destination in Hokkaido that draws attention from around the globe. It's the largest ski area in Hokkaido, boasting 37 trails and a running distance of 42 kilometers across three mountains with sweeping views of Shikotsu-Toya National Park. There is an abundance of activities, making it a place where you can experience virtually everything Hokkaido has to offer. The resort also features a Kids' School, perfect for children making their ski debut, and a snow activity area. Conveniently located about 90 minutes by car from both New Chitose Airport and Sapporo, Rusutsu Resort is a destination loved by snow enthusiasts from all over the world.

The West Mountain quad lift will be in operation from the beginning of the night skiing season through March 30 (tentative). *The start date will be decided according to snow conditions and safety considerations.

Challenge the free-riding slopes designed for three-dimensional fun! Enjoy the thrill of the jumps loved by skiers and snowboarders alike. Perform tricks on the large kickers, popular with intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders. For beginners, there are plenty of easier trails with jumps and rails of various sizes. No matter your skill level, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Kids’ park

Samurai Kids' Park This playground is designed for the whole family to enjoy the snow, even without skis or snowboards! The gentle-sloped area offers a variety of activities such as tubing, sledding, and mini-bobsledding. On the flat area, small children can enjoy baby cruisers, snow racers, and the very popular Striders. Kids' snowboards come equipped with Burton Riglet Board Reels, which help little ones learn how to snowboard. Children can also enjoy snowball fights to create wonderful winter memories! A snow escalator is available so even small children can enjoy their time at the resort. Samurai Kids' Park is a safe space where the whole family can enjoy the snow together. *The admission fee is not included in the lift pass.
