About a 40-minute drive from central Sendai, Spring Valley Sendai Izumi Ski Resort offers consistently good snow conditions throughout the season, thanks to a combination of new snowmaking machines and natural snowfall. Night skiing is available daily until 10:00pm. The resort features 12 diverse trails ranging from beginner to advanced levels, along with a snow park and a snow activity area for kids. It's a full-fledged urban resort just minutes from the city. You can also enjoy shopping at Sendai-Izumi Premium Outlets, located about 30 minutes away at the foot of the mountain.
