It's a beautiful location, but the route layout is unclear, and there’s no easy path from the summit to the base, which makes it difficult for beginners.

I wish for more diverse and convenient restaurant options, more accessible restrooms, and a more comprehensive and clear Green Line plan that is beginner-friendly. The shuttle bus should be convenient for traveling to various hotels and suitable for families with kids.

There are various types of ski slopes suitable for snow enthusiasts of all levels, and even those who don't ski can sit in cafés or igloos to enjoy the snowy landscape or have a coffee. There is also a snow basin where children can play.

With consistently great snow, stunning scenery, and a wide range of ski runs, Ishiuchi Maruyama is a resort that skiers of all levels can enjoy.

Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort is home to the famous transparent dome tents, where you can enjoy a meal or snap some Insta-worthy photos. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy skiing but also capture great pictures. The gentle Green Course at Ishiuchi is ideal for beginners to practice on. The resort's central entrance boasts the most beginner-friendly Black Course in the Yuzawa area, making it perfect for skiers looking to level up. Getting there is easy, with free shuttle buses available from both the west and east entrances. Even during night skiing hours, shuttle buses to the station are in operation. There are also many restaurants offering good quality and great taste. One top recommendation is the restaurant at the summit near the central entrance, where you can enjoy delicious food while taking in panoramic views of the entire mountain through the large glass windows. Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort is arguably the best one in the Echigo-Yuzawa area.
