It's a beautiful location, but the route layout is unclear, and there’s no easy path from the summit to the base, which makes it difficult for beginners.
I wish for more diverse and convenient restaurant options, more accessible restrooms, and a more comprehensive and clear Green Line plan that is beginner-friendly. The shuttle bus should be convenient for traveling to various hotels and suitable for families with kids.

To access Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort, take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Echigo Yuzawa Station (approx. 80 minutes), and then a free shuttle bus for about 10 minutes. By car, it is just a 5-minute drive from the Kan-etsu Expressway Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC.
