A long-established ski resort that has been open for over 70 years, just 90 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen! With a free shuttle bus service from the station and excellent access, you can enjoy one of the largest varieties of slopes in the Kanto region. The magnificent snowy landscape, featuring views of the Uonuma Plain and the Echigo Sanzan (Three Mountains of Echigo), is a must-see. The resort also boasts one of the largest night skiing slopes in Japan. Constantly evolving, Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort introduced the world’s most advanced combination lift in 2018. The Snow Garden, which opened in 2020, is a spot where visitors can enjoy the attractions of the snowy mountains without skiing. It features a snow dome tent and terrace for easy snow glamping, as well as cafés and activities.
