Both advanced and beginner skaters can enjoy skating

The Uwanodai Course is perfect for beginners. It has a very gentle slope, a good length, and excellent snow quality. There's a small forest along the side of the course, making skiing more enjoyable. When it snows, powder snow forms along the edges of the course, so beginners should definitely give it a try!

Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort spans three ridges from the summit of the 1,650-meter-high Mt. Kenashi down to the hot spring town below, boasting an elevation difference of 1,085 meters and 297 hectares of slopes and trails. It is a large-scale winter resort that ranks among the top in Japan in terms of its size, history, snow quality, and views. The Yamabiko Slope, in particular, is highly popular and consists of five intermediate-level runs spanning 1,000 meters. Its outstanding snow quality, scenic views, and natural beauty, such as the primeval beech forest and frost-covered trees, are major attractions. Another highlight is the hot springs. Nozawa Onsen, blessed with abundant hot spring water, is home to 13 outdoor baths. Refresh in the natural hot springs after a full day on the slopes.
