Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort

Resort features

Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort, which spans three ridges from the summit of Mt. Kenashi at an elevation of 1,650 meters to the hot spring town below, boasts an elevation difference of 1,085 meters and a total area of 297 hectares for its slopes and courses. It is a large-scale winter resort that ranks among the top in Japan in terms of its size, history, snow quality, and views. The Yamabiko Slope, in particular, is highly popular and consists of five intermediate-level runs spanning 1,000 meters. Its outstanding snow quality, scenic views, and natural beauty, such as the primeval beech forest and frost-covered trees, are major attractions. Another allure is the hot springs. Boasting an abundance of hot spring water, Yunogo Onsen has 13 outdoor hot spring baths. You can enjoy the natural hot springs after skiing.
