Located in an extremely cold region that recorded -21.6 degrees Celsius in 2022, Kaida Kogen Mia Ski Resort is renowned for its smooth, high-quality powder snow. Situated on the mid-slope of Mt. Ontake at elevations ranging from 1,557 to 2,120 meters above sea level, the ski resort offers a chance to experience the great outdoors while skiing in a peaceful, music-free environment. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the resort offers free lift rides for preschoolers, while elementary school students can ride free on the third Sunday of each month.
