Tainai Ski & Snowboard Area is a ski and snowboard resort in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture. Every weekend, the resort holds Kids' Ski Day, offering free snow escalator access for elementary school students and younger children, plus discounted lift passess for elementary students for just JPY 500! The resort is easily accessible, about 20 minutes by car or taxi from JR Nakajo Station and around 25 minutes by car from the Nakajo Interchange on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway.
