Yachihokogen Ski Area

Resort information
Located in Kita-Yatsugatake, Shinshu, this ski resort is surrounded by the largest white birch forest in Japan. Enjoy the excellent snow at an altitude of 1,830 meters. Although compact, the carving runs are beautifully compressed and a variety of attractions such as parks and bumps make it a slope where you can enjoy skiing all day long. When natural snow accumulates, the Petit Tree Run trail is open to enjoy powder snow! The wide gentle slopes and the layout of the slopes that all meet at the Center House make it a family-friendly ski resort. In particular, the Kids Land is equipped with unlimited rides on the moving carpet lift that allows children to practice skiing for the first time, and a sledding slope that is ideal for children playing in the snow. Activities include snowshoe trekking and chair snowboarding!
