Tanigawadake Joch by Hoshino Resorts

Resort information
Even if you don’t ski or snowboard, you can still enjoy breathtaking views of a 2,000-meter-class snow-covered mountain! Hop on a spacious 22-passenger ropeway for a 2,400-meter-long, approximately 15-minute aerial ride, and you’ll arrive at the expansive Tenjindaira at an elevation of 1,319 meters. The stunning snow-covered Mt. Tanigawa is truly exceptional. Sleds and snow activity equipment are available for free rental, so you can enjoy the snow with ease. Ski wear and boots are also available for rent (for a fee), making it convenient for sightseeing without bringing anything. After playing in the snow, we recommend trying the local specialty, Tanigawadake Pan (bread) Gratin, a piping hot gratin baked to order in the dish for a bubbling, delicious experience.
