"Norn Mizukami Ski Resort", where you can ski until as late as midnight

If you just want to ski for a long time, Norn Mizukami Ski Resort is the place to go. It’s open as late as midnight, and is a ski resort with a good reputation for the length of its nighttime opening hours. For those who want to ski as long as they want, there is no better place to be.

The two courses open for nighttime skiing are the "D Course" and "E Course". The D Course is just right in terms of both distance and slope, and it’s an easy-to-ski course for beginners.

The E Course, on the other hand, has a higher difficulty depending on where you ski, and there are places where the maximum slope incline can reach up to 23 degrees. It’s perfect for polishing skills such as carving and turning, and is a course rich in variation that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginner to advanced skiers.

Nighttime skiing hours run until 10pm. It’s open until midnight for a limited time only on Fridays and Saturdays from January to March.

"HAKUBA VALLEY Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort": the resort with the largest scale nighttime skiing facility

Of the ski resorts we have introduced, this one is especially sizable. The course used for nighttime skiing is "Toomi Slope", a long course with a distance of 1500 meters.

One of the biggest attractions of the resort is that the ski center is open 24 hours a day. Facilities such as napping rooms and onsen are also fully laid out, so everything you need to get your fill of nighttime skiing is on hand.

Hakuba Goryu comes recommended for those who want a fulfilling nighttime skiing experience, even if access is a little inconvenient. As it’s also open early in the morning, you can ski for literally the entire day. Nighttime skiing runs until 9:30pm.
