Night sessions where all courses are open
At Okutone Snow Park, with the exception of certain observation courses, all 14 course types are open for the night session.
Among the 3 different slopes, the Mukoyama Gelande is the most popular. The wide courses have gentle slopes, removing concerns about colliding with other skiers, so even beginners can enjoy leisurely skiing.
The silvery snow world illuminated by orange light is sure to take your breath away. The appeal of Okutone Snow Park is being able to take in the sprawling mountain scenery during the day, and then enjoy a different type of fantastic atmosphere at night.
Long cruising with a total running distance of 4,000 meters

If you go to Okutone Snow Park, a course we definitely recommend is the 900-meter “Bunanoki” course. This is a new course that was just registered in 2016. The first half of the course consists of a gentle slope, but partway through the second half of the course, undulations appear, the course narrows, and many other variations are in place for you to enjoy.
From the peak elevation of 1,180 meters, there is an incredible feeling of exhilaration as the wind rushes around your body. There is a pleasant thrill that only people who have actually skied there can experience.
In addition, there is a course with a mogul zone, a course with total running distance of 4,000 meters where you can enjoy a long run while taking in the spectacular scenery, thrilling forest courses through magnificent natural landscapes, and more - there really is an abundance of different types of courses available.
Large selection of rental ski goods available
Another great thing about Okutone Snow Park is the large selection of rental ski goods available. The rental corner of the newly constructed “New Gate House,” which opened in 2015, includes rental packages with skis and ski gear available to rent starting at 5,500 yen for adults.
Also, dedicated staff are on call to select the right size ski boots, skis and ski gear for customers, taking the worry out of what should be selected. The equipment is well-maintained, so items are always clean and there are no issues with broken parts.
Enjoy a casual meal at the slope-side “Rest House”
The “Rest House” built slope-side was just renovated in 2016. Since it is located right on the slopes, it is unnecessary to make a special trip to the base of the slopes. If you get hungry while skiing, you can take a break and have a meal.
There are a variety of menu items available including the popular sauce deep-fried pork cutlet on rice, curry, beef bowl, pork soup set, and more. There is a free coffee service on weekday mornings until 10:00am. The coffee aroma freshens up the mind.

The “New Guest House” is equipped with space for changing diapers and breastfeeding
In the “New Guest House” at the base of the slopes, there are changing rooms, and baby rooms that can be used for changing diapers and breastfeeding. Bulky items such as diapers, baby food, and changes of clothes can be stored in coin lockers, allowing parents to keep both hands free and enjoy skiing without worry.
There is also a shop built as an annex to the New Guest House. Out of sanitary consideration, Okutone Snow Park doesn’t rent small items like knitted hats, gloves, or goggles. In the event you forget to bring necessary small items, they can be purchased at the shop.
Next to the New Guest House is a dedicated sled playground for children. Parents and kids can spend some alone time building snowmen, riding sleds, or doing other activities.
