Resort features

Joetsu Kokusai, with its diverse courses and extensive slopes, is an attractive place to ski. There are four zones to enjoy: the Daiketou slope, with a proud maximum slope angle of 38 degrees; the Panorama slope, which is rich in variety; the Nagamine slope, which can be enjoyed by beginners and families; and the Toma slope, where abundant snowfall and powdery snow can be enjoyed. The slope in front of the hotel has a Kid's Paradise and Sled Land for small children to enjoy, and the course layout is satisfying for everyone from snow play to advanced players. It is easily accessible by train or car, and you can enjoy the vast slopes to the fullest by staying at a hotel directly connected to them, or by coming on a day trip which is also possible.
